With over 30 years of experience in metalwork, Mats Eriksson and his team are craftsmen in precision sheet metal, ensuring quality in every detail. Their help in construction and optimisation has been invaluable. All sheet metal parts were lasercut from Swedish SSAB steel and bent in Dalarna, Sweden.

ME Racing Service

Mats Eriksson also founded ME Racing which is now lead by his son, Lars-Göran, who specialises in SSAB Docol R8 Tubes and is a leading and innovative chassis manufacturer, supplying winning chassis and roll cages for several elite teams in both rally, dragracing and circle track racing. All Packoped tubes were bent in Dalarna.

Their focus on post-processing ensures our 3D-printed parts meet the highest standards. This high-tech approach opened new doors for the Packoped both in design and manufacturing processes, especially because we’re practically neighbours.

ME Plåt AB and ME Racing Service have together developed the Multi-Jig which is a very cleverly designed modular set-up that allows you to construct a rigid and accurate jig to perfectly suit any building projects. The Packoped is set up on a Multi-Jig prior to welding.

High-performance hydraulic braking systems ensure safe deceleration, maximum durability, and optimal control even at high speeds and during intensive use, like carbobikes often have. They even supply the German Post with their brake components. Made in Germany.

“Swedish Steel” has long been a synonym for superb quality and high durability.
SSAB is a global steel company with a leading position in high-strength steels and related services. SSAB is revolutionizing steelmaking with two unique decarbonized steels – paving the way for a greener future. All metall part both plates and tubes used in the Packoped are SSAB high-strength steel (Strenx 700, Docol 800 & Docol Tube R8). We are aiming of replacing them with SSAB’s Green Steel as soon as it’s available.
